And apparently, going on other info becoming known, the password must be 4 different digits ie 1234 ok 1133 not ok -

Any MB will do, as will any MI. That's just an example picture. No, you don't need to enter a password to start the PLC. The password is for when you go into Info Mode, which is accessed by holding the touch screen. Joe T. -

Hi Joe, Due to MB500 was assigned for other use, can I assign it to other empty MB. I had assigned it to MB1021, any other things I needed to do after that. Do I need to key in any password whenever I turn on PLC ? Thanks and Regards -
The V350 PLC together with the expansion card v100-17-can supports the standard CANopen protocol, some Unitronics PLC to PLC protocol ect. In general, the PLC provides for the implementation of CANopen network management - i.e. starting network devices, managing their status, transmitting PDOs, receiving RPDOs and sending SDOs. That is, it is assumed that the PLC is actually the master of the network. I can claim that these actions are successfully performed by the PLC, I have implemented and tested it. However, I did not conduct experiments with the connection of the CANopen network to another PLC - in your case Simatic 1200, which in my opinion also involves work with external devices for which it should actually also be a master. Theoretically, master-to-master work is possible, but its implementation can be difficult without appropriate experience and additional equipment. thanks the card v100-17-can can be use to communicate to s7-1200 ? or it only connect to other unitronics plc ?
